Lost little boy:(

Me, Mom, Nan and Tyler went to the Atlantic Superstore last night to get some groceries. I decided to run and get my prescription filled when they were in the produce section. Mom came over with Tyler and told me that he needed to go to the bathroom and went back to the cart. Tyler then decided that he didn’t need to pee anymore and wanted to go with nanny, so I took him around the corner and pointed to mom who was literally 5 feet away and said there is nanny stay with her. Mom was back on to us looking at the groceries so we never caught her eye. I assumed he was with her while she assumed that he was still with me. So I continued waiting to get my prescription and heard the announement over the system. “A little boy has been lost, his name is Conner. Would his mom please come to the customer service desk and get him.” The announcement sent shivers down my spine, I just can’t imagine how fearful it is for a little boy to lose his mom or dad. I continued waiting for my prescription and while paying for it I heard the exact same announcement again, “A little boy has been lost, his name is Conner. Would his mom please come to the customer service desk and get him”. I started walking to find Mom, Nan and Tyler and just had this awful feeling. I turned around and then went to the customer service desk, I just knew in my heart that that little boy was not Conner it was Tyler and sure enough when I got to the desk there he was wearing his favorite blue hat, eating a banana and sobbing away. I just starting bawling and ran and took him and with the shock and fear and everything else, I just yelled out "his name is not Connor his name is Tyler" and took him and ran to find mom. I felt so bad but I was so mesmerized and could not shake the feeling that I really did not know what to do. My poor baby was left by his self for at least 20 minutes and I can’t imagine how that felt for him. When Mom and Nan seen me coming down the aisle holding him and the both of us where crying they just lost it too so there was the four of us standing in a circle bawling and all the shoppers thinking that we were crazy! Ohh my I am soo thankful to god that he let me know that it was Tyler that was lost! I always believe that the bond between and mother and child is unbreakable and I am so glad that my maternal instincts and that bond allowed me know that it was Tyler sitting at the counter waiting for me! I can’t shake the feeling of “what ifs” but I know I just have to be thankful that I have him! Oh yeah and I did go back and thank the staff once I calmed down and was able to talk!

Dr. Appointment….. Number 4

I am now 18 weeks and 5 days. At this week’s visit we heard a very active little baby. The heartbeat was coming in and out because the baby was busy flipping and kicking. I am starting to feel quite a bit of movement which is my favorite part of pregnancy. There is nothing more calming then the feel of the kicks and life. Heartbeat this week was 160 and I am up 3 pounds. The doctor has prescribed Zantac for my indigestion and heartburn and is hoping that curing this will cure my upset stomach. Tomorrow is the ultrasound and we are all very excited…. Will let you know the details and tell you about the looks on my boys face. That is going to be as exciting as seeing our new addition for the first time!

Busy Weekend!

This was quite a busy week and weekend. We had a sick boy since last Tuesday. He has an awful fever and he was up and down until Saturday. So between work and painting our place and cleaning and caring for Tyler we were quite busy.
My mom and nan took the ferry from Newfoundland on Friday night so on Saturday I drove to New Glasgow to meet them. I decided to take the bridge and drive around because with my morning sickness still a craze and Tyler just starting to come around I did not want to chance the boat alone with the two boys. The bridge route took me 3 hours, it was quite the jot. But I have to say the boys were great. Thank god for DVD players and Indiana Jones movies. We made it just in time to see Mom and Nan come off the bus and then it was off to catch the boat. We made it home at suppertime so it was quite a day of driving and I was exhausted. Lee spend his day bringing power to and wiring a shed and worked for 12 hours straight so he too was tired and we where both out by 8:30 and slept for the night. Thanks to my mom for telling us to go to bed and she would take care of the boys.
We had a birthday party for Corey and Sonja‘s son Andrew at Shining Waters in Cavendish yesterday. It was a blast. First time we have been there but guaranteed that it will not be that last. It was great. They had a BBQ and presents and the cake outside the park at 12:00 and then around 1:00 we went inside and it was just filled with excitement for the kids and the parents too! We did not get to do the whole park; we wanted to stay with the group so we spent most of the day in the water park. Ryan and Tyler loved the kiddie’s water slide and water park. We didn’t leave until close to 5:30 and then ended up stopping for an ice cream in Brackley. So by the time we landed home it was close to 7:30 and this time all of us where out by 9:00.
The kids are home with my mom this week and they are loving the attention and getting EVERYTHING they want…. LOL Ryan is definitely off to Newfoundland on Sunday and Tyler is well…… he is going one minute and staying with mommy and daddy the next. Heheh soo we will see! It was a great weekend and I am soo happy to see my Mom and Nan and get to spend the week with them. I am sure it will be a great week! I will post a link to pics of shining waters soon….. Oh yeah and I will post one of my funky burn…. Haha I covered the boys in sunscreen and forgot myself….. ouch I hurt!!!!! I have a hand print on my arm which I am assume is from touching my arm with leftover sunscreen from the boys……….

Hell's Kitchen

I watched the season premiere of Hell’s Kitchen last night. It came on Tuesday night but due to 1 high fever and one temper tantrum I had to record it and watch it last night. Holy Craziness!!!!! Chief Ramsey takes no bull %^&# whatsoever and has no trouble telling then like it is!!! And this season contestants seem like they can give it back just as good. I LOVE it! This being the sixth season would be the first season for me and I am regretting not watching this before. There are quite a few characters on the show this season and from the looks of the previews there is going to be all kinds of drama!

Sad Story

It was soo sad to read today that the remains of Victoria Straffords body was found on Sunday..(http://www.cbc.ca/canada/story/2009/07/21/stafford-murder021.html) What a beautiful little girl that deserved so much more in life than what was done to her. I can't imagine how hard this is on her family and friends and I can only hope that they find some peace and closure.

Another Weekend of RAIN

Sooooo sick of rain... this has not been a good summer at all. I had decided to just take fridays off during July for vacation this summer just to have a long weekends and save some time for doctors appointment ultrasounds and want not. But so far EVERY friday has been RAIN and there is always at least one of the weekend days as well. Ohh well at least it is a day off :) I am home alone today, my boys wanted to sleep out to nanny's and poppys last night, so I decided that it would be a perfect day to clean because again its a rainy day and my mom is enroute to charlottetown next week to stay with us.

Plans for the weekend included the beach and maybe a night of camping but looks like that may be a cancel because Mr. Weatherman says rain all weekend!!!!! We are planning to start some painting so it looks like that is going to be most of our weekend Also planning a late start to spring cleaning. So in all the Rain there is still alot to do:)

Happy Weekend.

Happy Birthday Myrna

I hope you have a wonderful day!!!!!

Fight night

Lee and I and a few friends rented UFC 100 off pay per view Saturday night! It was awesome. Every fight had me on the edge of my seat and cheering! I love watching this and would never think that I would...... I am definatily NOT a fighter and I would be the first to run if I were to come up on a fist fight, I hate wrestling and boxing but I just love UFC. I started watching it back in November and I find this so intense and have a blast watching it! Looking forward to August 08 for The Declaration!

16 weeks......

I am so not good at keeping up on this blog and I am annoying myself!!!!! I love reading Blogs. I am on Christa's and Myrna's site everyday and I want to be able to keep up on my own! I am making a new goal! One blog a week~

Well I was 16 weeks on Wednesday and I have to say out of my three this is the worst preganancy yet when it comes to indigestion and morning sickness. Nothing I eat settles at all. I cannot look at beef, pork or chicken ewww can't even think about it! Any suggestions on getting rid of the morning sickness would be greatily appreciated! Other than that, things seem to be going well so far. Drs. appt's have been great, heartbeat is staying around ~ 165. This is quite higher than Ryan's and Tyler's. They were between 135 - 145. We go for the ultrasound on July 28 and we are finding out what we are having on Sept 12! Here is a picture of me at 16 weeks. I am quite the size!!!!! And here is to hoping that I can stick with my goal!!!! Have faith in me and keep reading:) Have a great weekend!
